The Companies (Fees) Regulations 1988

Coming into force 1st July 1988

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 708(1) and (2) of the Companies Act 1985[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
        1.—(1)  These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Fees) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 1st July 1988.

        (2)  The Companies (Fees) Regulations 1980[2] and the Companies (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1982[3] are hereby revoked.
        2.    In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, "the Act" means the Companies Act 1985 (any reference to a numbered section being to a section of that Act) and "document" includes other material kept by the registrar of companies under the Companies Acts.
        3.    The fees set out in the second column of the Schedule to these Regulations shall be the fees payable in respect of the transactions set out in the first column of that Schedule.
