PENSIONS The Local Government Superannuation (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1988
1.(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Superannuation (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1988. (2) These Regulations shall come into force on 27th April 1988. (3) The provisions inserted in the principal Regulations by regulation 3(3) and (5) of these Regulations have effect, in accordance with the provision inserted by regulation 3(1), as from 1st April 1986.
2. In these Regulations a reference to "the principal Regulations" is a reference to the Local Government Superannuation (Scotland) Regulations 1987([2]).
3.(1) In regulation A1 of the principal Regulations, at the end there shall be added the words "and regulations P5(2) and P15(1A) shall have effect as from 1st April 1986" . (2) In regulation A4 of the principal Regulations
(3) Regulation P5 of the principal Regulations shall be renumbered as regulation P5(1) and at the end of it there shall be added the following paragraph:
(4) In regulation P15(1)(e) of the principal Regulations, before the words "a contribution" there shall be inserted the words "except where paragraph (1A) applies," . (5) In regulation P15 of the principal Regulations, after paragraph (1) there shall be inserted the following paragraph:
