    The Lord President of the Council, in exercise of powers conferred by section 15(5) of the Copyright Act 1911[1] (a) and now vested in him [2] (b), hereby makes the following Regulations:
    Citation and coming into force
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the National Library of Wales (Delivery of Books) (Amendment) Regulations 1987, and shall come into force on 8th June 1987.
    Revocation
        2.    The National Library of Wales (Delivery of Books) Regulations 1924[3] (c) and the National Library of Wales (Delivery of Books) (Amendment) Regulations 1956[4] (d) (which specify classes of books not required to be delivered to the National Library of Wales) are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
    These Regulations revoke the National Library of Wales (Delivery of Books) Regulations 1924 and the National Library of Wales (Delivery of Books) (Amendment) Regulations 1956 which specified the classes of books not required to be delivered to the National Library of Wales under section 15 of the Copyright Act 1911. They are issued in consequence of a defect in the National Library of Wales (Delivery of Books) (Amendment) Order 1987 which, having been made as an Order and not as Regulations as required by section 15(5) of the Copyright Act 1911, did not take effect.
