TRANSPORT

The Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) (Amendment) Order 1987

Laid before Parliament 13th March 1987
Coming into force 3rd April 1987

    The Secretary of State for Transport (as respects England) and the Secretary of State for Wales (as respects Wales) in exercise of the powers conferred by section 129(5) of the Transport Act 1985[1] , and of all other enabling powers, hereby make this Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) (Amendment) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 3rd April 1987.
        2.    In article 3 of the Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) Order 1985[2] , after the word "section" there shall be inserted the word "50(4)," .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order extends the Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) Order 1985, so that it applies to transfers under section 50(4) of the Transport Act 1985. These are transfers under schemes made by the National Bus Company.
