BETTING, GAMING AND LOTTERIES

The Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) Order 1987

Made 19th February 1987
Laid before Parliament 2nd March 1987
Coming into force 1st April 1987

    In pursuance of sections 48(5) and 51(4) of the Gaming Act 1968[1], I hereby make the following Order:—
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 1st April 1987.

        (2)  This Order shall not extend to Scotland.
        2.    The provisions of section 48 of the Gaming Act 1968 specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to fees charged in respect of the matters mentioned in column 2 of that Schedule) shall have effect as if, for the references to the sums specified in those provisions (for which the sums mentioned in column 3 of that Schedule were substituted by the Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) Order 1984[2]), there were substituted references to the sums specified in column 4 of that Schedule.
        3.    The Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) Order 1984[2] is hereby revoked.
