The Housing Act 2004 (Commencement No. 4) (Wales) Order 2007

The National Assembly for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 270(4) and (5) of the Housing Act 2004(1), makes the following Order:

Title and application

1.—(1) The title of this Order is the Housing Act 2004 (Commencement No. 4) (Wales) Order 2007.

(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

Provisions coming into force on 6 April 2007

2.  In so far as they are not already in force(2), sections 212 to 215, and schedule 10 (tenancy deposit schemes) of the Housing Act 2004 come into force on 6 April 2007.

Explanatory Note

This Order is the fourth Commencement Order made under the Housing Act 2004. It brings further provisions of the Act, (relating to Tenancy Deposit Schemes) into force in Wales on 6 April 2007.
