The National Assembly for Wales is designated[1] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[2] in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community. Title, application and commencement 1. —(1) The title of these Regulations is the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Wales) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2006. (2) These regulations apply in relation to Wales. (3) These regulations come into force on 31 December 2006. Amendment to the Animal and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Wales) Regulations 2006 2. —(1) The Animal and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Wales) Regulations 2006[3] are amended in accordance with this regulation. (2) In regulation 16(4), for "1 January 2007" substitute "1 April 2007".
