Licensing (Amendment) Act 1976

1976 CHAPTER 18

An Act to amend the law relating to premises for which special hours certificates may be granted under the Licensing Act 1964.

[27th May 1976]

1 Repeal of section 76(5) of Licensing Act 1964

Subsection (5) of section 76 of the Licensing Act 1964 M1 (which excludes any bar from premises in respect of which any special hours certificate may be granted under that Act) is hereby repealed.

2 Short title, citation and extent

(1)This Act may be cited as the Licensing (Amendment) Act 1976.

(2)The Licensing Acts 1964 and 1967 and this Act may be cited together as the Licensing Acts 1964 to 1976.

(3)This Act does not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.
